UK domestic plastic recycling on the increase

The latest report commissioned by Recoup, sponsored by Nampak Plastics and PPS Recovery Systems, shows an encouraging increase in the UK plastic bottle recycling rate with 46% now being collected for recycling. The finalised data suggests a 7% increase in comparison with last year’s report, with more than 263,000 tonnes of plastic bottles collected, or more than 303,000 tonnes of plastic packaging when including non-bottle pack waste.
