DEFRA not up to job of driving sustainability, says committee

The department assigned by the UK Government to oversee its sustainability efforts is not up to the job, according to a committee of MPs. In a report out today, the Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) says the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) should handover its responsibility for driving improvements in sustainability across Government to the Cabinet Office.
