Chinese exports help recycling specialist hit 50 per cent target

When LWD Waste Services Ltd was first set up in 1987, the firm recycled just 10 per cent of the waste it collected. A month ago the figure was 30 per cent - but now it is 50 per cent after LWD started sending bulky plastic items to China to be recycled into goods such as garden furniture. Read more
